The Historical Center of Évora (CHÉ), with 1.07 square kilometers, is characterized by a medieval wall. Composed by 10 access doors and with an extension of 3 square kilometers, it presents a morphology with a strong constraint to motor mobility, circulation and parking.

One of the critical vectors of development is to promote more and better sustainable mobility, in an integrated and multimodal way, involving multiple players in the life of the city, residents, tourists and visitors, economic agents, and collective services.

Everyone must be part of a living ecosystem, where the proposals are based on a participatory and integrated development model, which promotes awareness, inclusion and accountability of citizens in the identification, design and implementation of activities, with the objective of making the city of Évora into intelligent environment for experimenting with technological solutions in a real environment - Living Lab for the Decarbonization of the Historic Center of Évora (LVpDÉ)!
